Building the next era of semiconductor manufacturing
Manufacturing in Richardson, Texas
Our two 300-milimeter semiconductor wafer fabrication plants in Richardson, Texas, will manufacture more than 100 million analog chips every day that will go into electronics everywhere. Our newest fab (RFAB2) started production in September 2022 and is connected to our first fab in Richardson (RFAB1), which opened as the world’s first 300mm analog wafer fab in 2009. The investment will support our customers’ demand for decades to come.
Two 300mm wafer fabs
We began operating in Richardson in 2009, as the world's first 300mm analog wafer fab. In 2022, we completed construction on our second 300mm wafer fab, which is connected to the first. Both wafer fabs are currently in production.
